This Brooklyn wine shop has been in operation since 2016. The focus is firmly local, in fact more than 70 percent of their overall products hail from New York State – that’s Finger Lakes, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Brooklyn & Queens. But if you’re looking for something from further afield? Sure, you can find that kind of thing here, too.
There’s a solid range on offer. Wines include old and new world, reds, whites, rosés and sparkling options (including Champagne), but also go beyond the standard fare to orange wines and pet-nats – a ‘méthode-ancestral’ sparkling wine that predates Champagne. But wine’s just the half of it. You can get stuck into ciders, meads and a serious spirit selection ranging from vodka, whisky and gin to moonshine, absinthe and sotol.
