Time Out says

Whether you’re in the market for new bed linens or looking for a head-to-toe home makeover, The Silver Peacock on the Upper East Side offers a full scale of interior design services and products. Owners Jennifer Flanders and Charlie Akwa jumped at the chance to own the 1,800-square-foot space, which is a converted home from the 1860s. The shop feels approachable and welcoming and features a complimentary wine/espresso bar in the back. Cozy bedroom and dining scenes showcase items from both major manufacturers and rare brands. “We want people to feel comfortable here, as if they’re in their own home,” Akwa says. “We encourage people to play with items; we’re not a museum.” Items for sale include bed linens, tableware, vintage furniture and artwork, such as Gayle Warwick organic white linens with hand-embroidered accents ($500 for a king set), Kumi Koo Koon collections of hypoallergenic silk bedding and pillows (starting at $135) and Nason Moretti colorful glasses and barware (starting at $60). The store also provides in-home services, custom orders, free gift wrapping and delivery and art consulting.
