You don’t have to travel overseas to enjoy delicacies from other cultures (unless you want to) thanks to New York subscription service Try the World. The concept is similar to what Birchbox has done for beauty lovers, with the only difference being that this one is for world-traveling foodies! In honor of the holidays, the brand opened a temporary pop-up with tastings and other culture events scheduled throughout the month. Stop by and pick up the special edition Holiday Box, curated by Food Network’s David Rosengarten, and the Paris Box, curated by Michelin-star chef Christophe Schmitt ($39 each). Bonus: Enjoy free samples such as Palais des Thes tea, cookies, jams and delicious spreads while you shop.
