Time Out says
After months of anticipation—and myriad subway advertisements—the popular Japanese fashion retailer finally unveils its two largest global flagships, on Fifth Avenue and in Herald Square. The colossal locations boast affordable basics for men and women, and the familiar clean and modern aesthetic of Uniqlo’s first New York store, which opened its doors in Soho in 2006. Debuting along with the stores is the Uniqlo Innovation Project, a new fall line of fashion-meets-function apparel ($20–$170) that pairs quality materials like cashmere and denim with heat-generating and water-repellent fabric technology. Prep for the cold weather with men’s wool hunting hats ($25), ladies’ houndstooth scarves ($30), women’s flannel check tunics ($40) and guys’ down vests ($50).
