Don’t let the facade fool you: What’s designed to look like an old-school hat shop, hardware store, neighborhood bar and bodega (before every New York City block was littered with chain stores) is actually Urban Outfitters’ newest Upper West Side location. It might appear different, but it’s still the same hipster haven you know and love, full of cool-kid standbys like BDG colorful twill cigarette pants ($49), Silence & Noise’s fitted basic blazers ($78) and men’s Standard Issue plaid button-downs ($48). In addition to men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and accessories, the 15,800-square-foot megastore—Urban’s ninth location in Manhattan—will offer nonboring, bold items to decorate your pad, such as streak-dyed ceramic bowls ($8, four for $20) and zigzag-printed velvet pillows ($32).
