Exploring new cities (or checking out new spots in your neighborhood) is so much more exciting in stylish new threads. There’s just something that feels so right about discovering a buzzing new bar or a super-cute café when you feel as well-dressed as the space around you. That’s where UNIQLO comes in. We’ve teamed up with the Japanese casual-wear retailer to show just how easy it is to find outfits that are ideal for life in New York City—whether you’re here for a weekend or you’re a local.

How did we do this, exactly? Naturally, we brought in the experts. Brian Chan and Neha Rao are two style and fashion bloggers (Brian is from Philadelphia, and Neha hails from Boston). We challenged each of them to shop UNIQLO’s famous Fifth Avenue flagship store to find a daytime look and evening outfit perfectly suited for a weekend of shopping, exploring and dining out.

You can see the results in the video above. Spoiler: these two very stylish individuals were let loose in the largest UNIQLO store in NYC… so it’s a pretty safe bet they created impressive looks.

Feeling inspired to create your own NYC outfit? You don’t need to be a fashion blogger to put together something special. UNIQLO makes the process easy with their range of high-quality basics, any-weather essentials and kaleidoscope of color options.

UNIQLO also has a little extra something for you. They're offering Time Out readers $10 off your new NYC look if you spend $65 in one of their Manhattan store. Find out more here.
