Blondi’s Hair Salon
Stylist Joseph Nassar opened his original Upper East Side salon in 2005, followed by an Upper West Side location in 2008. Now he’s added a third spot to the mix, offering hair and makeup services from Aveda-trained stylists. Inside the chandelier-bedecked space, you’ll find 12 cherrywood workstations for services including cuts (men $40–$55, women $95–$110), color (single process $65, highlights $150–$280) and herbal treatment masks ($45) for parched hair. There’s also a chair toward the back of the salon for professional makeup applications ($65) and eyebrow threading ($25).

Bouchra has been my hair stylist for more than 2 years at Blondis. I really love the haircut styles that she did for me.

First let me say I love love love Bouchra. No one has ever been able to cut my hair like she can. I really had no idea about how to change my hair styles when I got there. After the communication, she recommended that I should cut it, because it made my life much easier. She is honest, realistic and professional and amazingly talented. She is really took the time (even though it was a busy day for her) and listened to what I wanted and worked with me to do what she do the best. The service is amazing. Definitely recommend hair stylist Bouchra and Blondis on Amsterdam.

Recently wanted to go much blonder with my hair, since I have never gone blonde before. My hair is natural dark brown! Came to Blondis on Broadway and 105 street and I was introduced to Guido. He gave me a great natural blonde and an amazing blowout.

I will definitely go back again for a cut soon. Thank you Blondi's and Guido. Great experience!

From the moment you walk in the door you instantly feel welcomed.  The receptionist is warm and friendly - something that is unfortunately rare in NYC.

Best haircut & highlights I've ever received!  Have gotten many compliments.  I wouldn't go anywhere else!  Salon has great vibe. Not sure about all the reviews here. I highly recomand this salon.

Bad service, sneaky prices and rude staff. Do not go to this Salon. This had to be the WORST experience I have ever had a salon. Avoid this salon at all costs literally because they will charge you for services they do not provide AND I had to get my hair re-cut after this experience.

So here goes... I started by seeing a likebooker offer which I called the salon directly to book. I got the winter refresh package with Diane for $160 which included a highlights, a cut, blow dry, and deep conditioning treatment. I confirmed that this was the price on the phone with the receptionist before I came in and with Diane before she started my treatments.

Diane was AWFUL. She ate lunch while I was processing and literally burped in my face when she had finished. She skipped the conditioning treatment all together and the cut she gave me was awful. I put my hair up when I left the salon and booked another salon the next day.

The worst part came when I went to pay. As I walked to the register Diane was mouthing the price to the receptionist which I thought was weird since I had asked for the life booker special for $160. The receptionist told me the price was $240!!!!! When i complained and brought up the Lifebooker price they randomly lowered the charge to $209!!! At that point I realized they were just making up prices and left the salon.

Bad service, sneaky prices and rude staff. Do not go to this Salon.

Lady at desk Julia Is racist and antisemetic Was totally rude and discriminating. She had kicked me out of the salon for absolutely no reason.. Went in with my baby girl after a freezing day in the cold weather asked to please charge my phone totally refuse and kicked me out horrible service .. And to think I was about to get my hair cut there Oh my gosh totally rude and abnoctious..

I like Blondi's Salon, all 3 Places with great staff. I personally recommend Hairstylist - Colorist Brendon Mallon @ Upper East Side on 86st.

I don't know where to begin, I can't say enough bad things about this salon, TERRIBLE, I got the worst hair color of my life from Michael Joseph. He didn't even cover my gray, and you have no recourse because they don't care. The owner could have cared less. Horrendous experience, and ruined hair, and out $500

I contacted Blond's Hair Salon and asked them If I bought the Groupon today can I use it today, she instructed me not to buy the groupon and whatever deal they have on groupon she will honor it in-store. When I arrive at the store she told me it is no longer available on groupon and charged me 305.00 for a haircut blow dry and keratin hair treatment. I checked online and it is still available for only a fraction of what I paid. I will never use groupon again only because businesses do not honor them. Having penalties for businesses like this will be great.
