Time Out says

This high-tech wellness center originated in 2007 as Chelsea’s Station Fitness—a workout space dedicated to Power Plate vibrating stations that intensify your workouts by accelerating muscle movements. Owner and physical therapist Andrew Barile has rebranded that original spot and opened an additional location, featuring a host of nontraditional weight-loss services. You can still get your 30-minute Power Plate workout ($45 per session), or try a Purelight Slim session ($125), in which red LED lights are placed on your hard-to-budge areas, triggering fat cells to open up and burn energy. The main attraction, though, is the Pure Pulsation therapy room, where you lie on a bed while your lower body is strapped into compression bands that expand and contract with your heartbeat (45mins $200). The process—originally designed for cardiac patients—is said to increase circulation, give you an energy boost and help with detoxification and antiaging.
