Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

Southern belle–turned skin-care guru Sarah Swanson opened her first NYC spa and shop. The space oozes zen, with motivational quotes on the walls and leather armchairs throughout the black-and-white waiting room. Save up for a facial rejuvenation treatment ($395), featuring a deep-cleansing milk rinse, a microdermabrasion and a chemical peel. Splurge on a detoxifying body wrap or VelaShape treatments (five for $2,200), said to shed stubborn pounds around the abdomen and legs. For a more affordable option, try a facial peel ($185) to smooth out discoloration and wrinkles. Be sure to check out the at-home treatments, including strawberry-oil-and-jojoba-bead facial scrubs (2oz, $36), natural oatmeal soaps ($14) and soy candles ($20) to drip onto damaged cuticles and sore heels.
