Very Polished Spa Lounge
Owners Lannetta Easterling-Hay and Anjaneth Aguirre worked in banking and child care, respectively, but have always had a flair for beauty and entertainment. Together they opened this loungelike nail salon that has white leather couches, low-hanging lights and a chain-metal curtain to provide privacy to those who desire it. Loosen up with a Margarita pedicure ($38), whose tequila-based footbath is spiked with strawberry essential oils and sea salt. There’s also a supersweet French Toast manicure ($20), featuring an almond-and-brown-sugar scrub. If you’re on the go, stop by the ten-seat nail bar for a speedy basic mani ($15) and a gratis cup of tea.

I really wanted to like the place, I really did, but I had a "meh" experience.

First off the secretary is horrible- horrible attitude, horrible at attending clients in any shape or matter. The first time when I received a nexgen manicure with extensions. I liked it! however  within 2 days I had to return the salon and get a nail fixed because it broke due to picking up a small box (I know ridiculous). After that I was back once again (within another two days) to get another nail fixed because of taping my nail on a door (also ridiculous). I was not pleased but due to the fact I got my nexgen nails extensions long I accepted that maybe it was just me and my clumsiness?, so I gave the salon another try.

I went in thinking that since I was getting my nails done shorter and more practical I wouldn't have any issues--I did. I was pleased with the service... up to the point I had to pay. I ended up getting charged so so much more than I thought. When I addressed to the secretary that there online prices said one thing (which is obviously what I was going by) she refused to respect their mistake and charge me the price that was originally stated on their website and ended up charging me double for my nexgen fill in. She was rude and extremely dismissive. I decided to not get in an argument over it and just pay the total and leave.

However a few hours later my nexgen nails started lifting at the cuticle and are extremely loose. So on top of paying top dollar for a nail salon experience I received a subpar product and outcome.

I enjoyed the presence, the space of the salon, however I have paid both LESS and have received better quality nails and service.

I wanted to like this salon and support a local business but l not be returning at all.

My first experience was incredible. They did start the appointment late but it was such an impressive experience that I will definitely return. It was clean, calm, and a relaxed environment. I agree, it was a nail 'experience' not just a nail spot.
