You might not be able to scrape together the cash to rent out Yankee Stadium, but you can play tennis on the same hard court as U.S. Open champs like Venus and Serena Williams for a mere $20. If your racket skills are rusty (or nonexistent), the center also offers group and private tennis lessons.

This place is a tennis mecca not only for the 2 weeks of US Open in August, but year round.  Each year, this location grows in one way or another.  New courts, new seating, and now a retractable roof for the main stadium for 2016.  Located in Flushing -Meadows Corona Park, seeing the US Open here at least once is a memorable experience.  The selection of food and drinks during the Open is outstanding.  Be ready for stadium prices, but what do you expect for a NYC sporting location.
