41st Annual International African Arts Festival

The numerous cultures represented in dance, music and vendors at this five-day fest reflect the African diaspora. This year’s highlights include a parade from Fulton Street at Vanderbilt Avenue (Sat 30), a performance by Latin jazz singer Cita Rodriguez (Sat 30), a tribute to groundbreaking musician Rahsaan Roland Kirk (Mon 2), and a celebration of Whitney Houston’s life and work (Tue 3).
