Waterwell presents the English-language premiere of a real-time drama by Italy's Stefano Massini, whose epic The Lehman Trilogy played on Broadway earlier this season. In this smaller-scaled work, translated by Francesca Spedalieri, a union council has only 90 minutes to decide on a course of action to deal with the new owners of their textile factory in rural Connecticut. Mei Ann Teo directs a cast of 11 composed entirely of female and gender non-conforming actors, including Mahira Kakkar, Danielle Davenport, Layla Khoshnoudi, Ebony Marshall-Oliver and Carmen Zilles.
