A Christmas Story, The Musical

This musical adaptation of the 1983 holiday movie—a seasonal hit on Broadway last year, and now returning at MSG—re-creates its best-loved sequences (tongue stuck to frozen flagpole, the kitschy leg lamp and a cynical department-store Santa) but ladles on too much schmaltz.
