A Midsummer Night's Dream

Shakeapeare in the Square offers a stripped-down account of this classic farce, in which a bossy Bottom falls into a wild world of drugged-up fairy sex. Dan Hasse directs a cast of six in a merry-messy production whose only props are foodstuffs. (After its run at the Access Theater, the production moves to the Brick for three bonus performances as part of the Shakespeare in the Theater festival.)
