Three major talents of the stage and screen—Sam Rockwell, Alfred Molina and Carla Gugino—headline the latest revival of Arthur Miller's 1955 drama, a modern-mythic tale of jealousy, lust, honor and betrayal in a community of Italian-American dockworkers in Red Hook. The play has been revived on Broadway four times, but this pricy limited run at La MaMa, directed by Atlantic Theater Company honcho Neil Pepe, is its first Off Broadway production in more than 60 years. Tom Pecinka and Fred Hechinger play undocumented-immigrant longshoremen, and newbie Riley Prior completes the principal cast as a young woman who inspires her uncle to feelings beyond the avuncular.
