Annual Kite Flight

Kite flying isn't only for pastoral landscapes and beachside scenes. Today your youngster can take on the wind New York City style—on the rooftop of Port Authority. Kids will create their own gliders, then fly them alongside seasoned experts. If they'd rather stick closer to the ground, participants can also make crafts, play games and take in performances by circus folk. The event takes place at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, South Wing, on the seventh-floor rooftop parking lot. All ages.
