Composer Travis Just and librettist-director Kara Feely essay an experimental stage adaptation of a 1979 recording by the late Robert Ashley, in which the avant-garde opera writer uses hushed fragments of music and language to explore his own propensity toward involuntary speech. (By his account, he had a mild form of Tourette Syndrome.) This multimedia production is the latest revision of a work that Just and Feely first presented at the Incubator Arts Project in 2011.
