Jeton Neziraj, the artistic director of Kosovo's Qendra Mediamultimedia, sets a new match to the powder keg of Europe in this explosive modern Balkan adaptation of the Oresteia, Aeschylus's ancient cycle of family betrayal and revenge. Bietra Neziraj directs a cast of nine—including actors from Kosovo, Serbia, Albania and the U.S.—through the neomythic carnage; the play is performed in English.
