Beloved

A bored young woman embarks on an affair with an older classical-music conductor in Swedish writer-director Lisa Langseth's 2004 drama, which the author adapted into the award-winning 2009 film Pure. Kathy Curtiss directs the U.S. premiere for the Scandinavian American Theater Company, working with a translation by Charlotte Barslund.
