How many times have you made a mental note to catch that play everyone’s raving about, but then you turn around—and it’s closed? Not everything runs as long as The Phantom of the Opera (27 years, for Pete’s sake), nor is everything sold out like Hamilton: There are plenty that could use your butt in a seat. Each month we try to strike a balance between high-profile Broadway shows and smaller offerings in the city’s coolest Off-Off venues. And remember: There are always cheap seats to be found.
