Fred Newman's 1991 play images a funeral attended by three tragic African-American icons: Malcolm X, Billie Holiday and Yusuf Hawkins, who was murdered by a Brooklyn mob in 1989. Gabrille L. Kurlander directs the revival for Castillo Theatre.
