Bread and Puppet Theater

Cue the brass band! Slice the garlic bread! Peter Schumann's legendary agitprop puppet group, founded in 1963, returns for its annual New York visit, this time bringing two shows: The Seditious Conspiracy Theater Presents: A Monument to Oscar Lopez Rivera, a Puerto Rican Political Prisoner, which investigates U.S. colonialism; and, on weekend matinees, the family-friendly The Overtakelessness Circus.
