Dawn Stern and Stephan Wolfert, founders of the art-therapy program De-Cruit—which uses theater to help miltary veterans adjust to civilian life—perform three of their own hour-long, two-person adaptations of Shakespearean works, as filtered through the lens of trauma survivors: The Head of Richard (July 15-23), a riff on Richard III directed by Jason O’Connell; Make Thick My Blood (July 29–August 6), a take on Macbeth directed by Alexandra Beller; and She-Wolf (August 12–20), directed by Yvette Nolan and inspired by the War of the Roses tetralogy's Margaret of Anjou. Veterans can attend the performances free of charge by using the discount code VETERAN online.
