We can only assume that conventional genre boundaries will be cheerfully transgressed when two of the oddest, most subversive talents in their fields—director-playwright Richard Maxwell and choreographer Sarah Michelson—collaborate on a story-ballet featuring both dancers and those deadpan delights, the New York City Players.
