Early Plays

Two major movers in the experimental-theater world—Elizabeth LeCompte's Wooster Group and Richard Maxwell's New York City Players—pool their resourcefulness in a staging of three maritime shorts by Eugene O'Neill (written between 1914 and 1918). Maxwell directs his own adaptation, which includes original songs; the blended cast features Kate Valk, Ari Fliakos and Jim Fletcher.
