Encores!: The Most Happy Fella

City Center's invaluable Encores! staged-reading series continues its 21st season with Frank Loesser's classic, quasi-operatic 1956 musical about a homely grape farmer, the waitress he woos by post and the ranch hand who threatens their bliss. The high-wattage cast, directed by Casey Nicholaw, is led by Shuler Hensley, Laura Benanti and Cheyenne Jackson.
