Flowers Are Sleeping

Performer and writer Eisa Davis has risen through the ranks of New York's theater (Passing Strange) and spoken-word scenes. This weekend, as part of Symphony Space's Harlem Renaissance Festival, she premieres a commissioned musical-theater work inspired by author and nurse Nella Larsen.
