Eli Leonard surveys and sends up the history of comic Jewish stereotypes in an ambitious clown piece, which he performs in the gabardined guise of his cash-conscious alter ego Sandy Synagoguenstein. Joining him for the ride are fellow comedian Sarah Shtern and the live musicians of GOOF; co-writer Theodore Bressman directs the New York premiere.
