Hamlet in Harlem

In this self-described "politically incorrect comedy" about the pitfalls of cultural representation, a well-meaning but ill-informed white director hopes to film a Barrio version of Hamlet, to the distinct displeasure of Hispanic actors who see what he has in mind. The show made its debut at TNC this spring; Playwright Alberto Ferreras once again directs an all-Latino cast in this return engagement.
