Horsedreams

Dael Orlandersmith plays a black nanny who watches a white family get torn asunder by drug addiction in this attenuated PSA of a drama. Delivered almost entirely as alternating monologues, most of the piece is repetitious, imprecise and belabored; the subject is serious, but much of the writing is junky.—Adam Feldman
