HOT! Festival 2018

Escape your humdrum black-and-white life for the many shades of gay at Dixon Place's estimable annual festival of all things same-sex. The centerpiece of the 2018 edition is Timothy DuWhite's Neptune (July 13–28), a solo piece about life and love as a black, gay and HIV-positive man. Other potential standouts include Glace Chase's Love Criminal (July 5);  Jess Barbagallo and Alexis Powell's Not for Resale (July 7); M. Lamar's American Cuck (July 12); Reno's Ignorance Is No Excuse (July 18); and Cecilia Gentili's The Knife Cuts Both Ways (July 24–26).
