The theatrical archaeologists of the Metropolitan Playhouse cut through multiple layers of American history in this revival of a 1968 play by Arthur Kopit (Oh Dad, Poor Dad…), in which the displacement of the 19th-century Native American population is depicted through a Wild West show starring an aging Buffalo Bill Cody.
