La Douleur (The War: A Memoir)

Frances's Dominique Blanc reprises her Molière Award–winning 2008 performance in the New York premiere of this solo show, based on the diaries of Marguerite Duras in the immediate wake of World War II. Patrice Chéreau directs alongside choreographer Thierry Thieû Niang. (Performances are in French, with English titles.)
