Lady Fest

The Tank devotes two of its theaters to stagings and readings of new work by women in this third edition of its annual festival. Featured works include Katelynn Kenney's Tomkid, a coming-of-age tale that draws ion Southeast Asian and Pacific Indigenous myths; Sam Shaber and Lynn Ferguson's musical storyelling show Sam Shaber: Life, Death, and Duran Duran; Jessica Owens's doomsday-cult drama The Valkyries; and Fempire, a collection of dances choreographed by Ashley McQueen with a feminist camp sensibility.
