John Cariani's bittersweet 2004 anthology of nine magical-literalist romantic vignettes, Almost, Maine, was the sleeper hit of the decade. Now the actor-writer follows it up with another nonet of scenes, this time with material by three songwriters. Chris Henry directs; Cariani has stepped into the cast to replace an injured actor.
