Medea

Japan Society invites director Satoshi Miyagi and his troupe, Shizuoka Performing Arts Center, to give a 19th-century Japanese gloss—complete with live music and Bunraku-style puppetry—to retell the story of Euripides's Medea, the mother of all infanticides. (Performances are in Japanese with English titles.)
