Chinese-American architect Maya Lin shocked the nation in 1981 when her bold proposed design for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.—entered as a blind submission when she was a Yale undergraduate—was selected for the task. Livian Yeh looks back on that controversy in a historical drama; Jeff Liu directs the world premiere for Pan Asian Repertory Theatre, with Angel Lin and Nancy Ma alternating in the central role.
