Even if you emerged from your childhood thinking that clowns are creepy and gross, there's still a chance you'll have fun at this fest, which caters to a more grownup crowd (in other words, no squirting flowers). Today, join the goofball crew of jugglers, stilt-walkers and more at Union Square, then ride the L train together to the Brick Theater in Williamsburg for a giant, public pie fight, after which a Clown Cabaret will preview festival highlights. (Check bricktheater.com for info on performances and shenanigans through Sept 26.)
