Time Out says

If you peek behind the seats you can find left behind reminders of this venue’s former life as a school, but since 1979, most of the education in this downtown stalwart is of the theatrical kind. Seasons mix local experimenters with touring performances, with an emphasis on multiplatform work, including avant-garde dance and performance. Its new 122 Community Center building also includes a space used by the long-lived Mabou Mines and an art gallery, both of which sometimes house theatrical work. After a renovation that lasted several years, the complex reopened in 2017, and P.S. 122 officially changed its name from Performance Space New York.

Color Theories

The queer Salvadoran-American comedian Julio Torres has one of the country's most distinctive sensibilities, as he has proved as the auteur and star of Los Espookys, Fantasmas and Problemista. His 2019 HBO special My Favorite Shapes found him musing about physical forms; in this new multimedia stage show, he hews to hues.
