Pericles

The witty and inventive Fiasco Theater jumps back into its Without a Net series—in which the actors rehearse for just two weeks before sharing the results with an audience—with a rare staging of one of the Bard's least coherent plays: an kind of Ancient Mediterranean Flash Gordon adventure (often coattributed to Elizabethan ne'er-do-well George Wilkins) that includes shipwrecks, contests to win a princess’s hand, a pirate abduction, a virgin in a brothel and a guest shot by the goddess Diana. Ben Steinfeld directs a cast that includes Tatiana Wechsler along with company members Jessie Austrian, Noah Brody, Paul L. Coffey, Andy Grotelueschen, Devin E. Haqq, Paco Tolson, Emily Young and Steinfeld himself.
