Puss in Boots (El gato con botas)

The New Victory Theater season opens with this funky adaptation of the classic tale. Its offbeat mix of puppetry, operatic elements courtesy of the Gotham Chamber Opera and live music from a chamber orchestra sounds like a charmer to us. Spanish-speaking youngsters can also attend a show performed in that language. Ages 8 and up.
