Time Out says
Though the famous circus won't be charging into Manhattan as usual this year, families can still see its astonishing acts at nearby suburban venues. Attractions include the Human Fuse, a man who—what else?—jets through the air at 65 miles per hour; two strongmen who are able to lift half-ton telephone poles while acrobats balance precariously on top; and Tabayara the animal trainer, who commands Asian elephants, tigers and stallions. Arrive an hour early for a free pre-show party in which performers invite families onto the arena floor and teach circus skills to the audience. All ages.
