Amore Opera poaches songs from the works of Victorian tunesmiths W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan—including The Mikado, H.M.S. Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance—for this operetta version of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, in which a skinflint's life is turned topsy-turvy by four ghostly visitors. Nathan Hull directs his own adaptation.
