Hope is the thing with tar and feathers as downtown writer-performer Tanya O'Debra honors and sends up the cloistered Amherst belle and dash fan Emily Dickinson in a show described as a "pseudo-historical, quasi-biographical, hysterically existential, sadomasochistic psycho-romance about America's most brilliant and annoying poetess." Sara Wolkowitz directs the production, which costars Gregg Bellón and features original music by Andrew Moreyellow.
