Sowa's Red Gravy

A 110-year-old woman tells wild tales of her adventures as a Hollywood star, African warrior and voodoo priestess in a new play by Diane Richards, inspired by styles associated with the Harlem Renaissance. Stage and screen star Lonette McKee (Show Boat) stars in the Off Broadway premiere, directed by Woodie King Jr. for his New Federal Theatre.
