Straightiolab Live: Lesbiolab

The witty comedy duo of George Civeris (the brainy one) and Sam Taggart (the horny one) playfully deconstruct mainstream het values through a pseudo-pseudointellectual lens of queer cultural criticism in their weekly podcast Straightiolab. Lately they've gone bi(-coastal), but this live show at the Bell House takes them back to their Brooklyn alt-comedy roots. The podcast tends to focus on gay guys, but the spotlight is on girls' girls this time; three special guests—comedians Sydnee Washington and Natalie Rotter-Laitman and the Pulitzer Prize–winning lit critic Andrea Long Chu—help them beat around the bush.
