Swallows

The incisive writer-performer Jill Pangallo usually performs solo, but for her first full-length play she surrounds herself with other major downtown artists—Becca Blackwell (Is This A Room), method sex kitten Heather Litteer and singer-songerwriter-violist Anni Rossi—for a Hollywood dark comedy about a faded 1990s pin-up boy whose hopes for a musical  comeback are jeopardized by a long-buried secret. Rosie Glen-Lambert directs the La MaMa production, which features an original song by Rossi.
