The Frogs

Nathan Lane hosts this MasterVoices concert staging of Stephen Sondheim and Burt Shevelove's loose 1974 adaptation of Aristophanes's ancient comedy—as adapted again by Lane for the show's 2004 Broadway premiere—in which the Greek god Dionysus travels to the Underworld in search of an artist who could save the world from war. This version, directed and conducted by Ted Sperling, stars Douglas Sills, Kevin Chamberlin, Peter Bartlett, Dylan Baker, Chuck Cooper, Marc Kudisch, Jordan Donica and Candice Corbin.
