The Hairy Ape

The estimable Bobby Cannavale is a beautiful beast as Yank, a brutish laborer who rages at the upper class after at being insulted by a rich young woman, in this revival of Eugene O'Neill's 1922 drama. Richard Jones directs the production, a visually stunning Expressionist marvel that mostly takes place on a stage that revolves around the audience but also extends to make excellent use of the cavernous Park Avenue Armory.
